WORKBOAT CODE EDITION 3

As you may know The Workboat Code is an industry technical standard document relating to small, commercial workboats and all pilot boats (Great Britain. Maritime and Coastguard Agency Department, 2014). Currently there are two editions of the code available published by the MCA. More recently they have announced that a third edition is to be published, however, we have been advised by the MCA that the public consultation on Workboat Code Edition 3 has now been postponed until some time in October. This Important period of consultation was scheduled to commence today, on the 15th September 2022.

We understand and respect the reason for this postponement with the recent passing Queen Elizabeth II.

We look forward to viewing the document in due course.
