Larsen's Marine Surveyors & Consultants (LMSC) are aware that there is a need to maintain a high level of professionalism whilst engaged as an expert witness.
Working for either the defence council, prosecution or directly for the court, we will produce unbiased, factual reports based on the evidence available and within the scope of the court guidelines. This will be supported by documented evidence.
Larsen's Marine Surveyors & Consultants (LMSC) have worked with the courts in relation to damages to vessels & personal injury claims, we have also worked with the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague in relation to international incidents which involve the complexities of maritime regulations and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
We are aware of, and fully comply with, the requirements of Part 35 of the United Kingdom Crown Prosecution Service, Practice Direction 35, the Protocol for the Instruction of Experts to Give Evidence in Civil Claims and the practice direction on pre-action conduct.
Our Principal surveyor has obtained the Bond Solon Civil Procedure Rules Expert Witness Certificate to evidence his understanding and compliance of the above requirements.
